GEDIS Lands in Mongolia: Traditional Enterprises Enter the Era of

2026-02-25

On February 25, Yan'an Digital Trade Cross border Service Center and Mongolian MONEXALL Company officially signed the GEDIS (Global Electronic Data Interchange System) Rule Framework Convention, making MONEXALL the first executor of GEDIS in the Mongolian market. This signing is a deepening implementation of the cooperation achievements of the 8th Silk Road Expo, marking the transition of GEDIS rules from "Yan'an practice" to "Mongolian application" and a substantial breakthrough in the joint construction of digital trade rules between China and Mongolia.

Reshaping Corporate DNA with Rules: From "Traditional Enterprises" to "Digital Commerce Enterprises"

As a new set of rules for global digital collaboration, GEDIS creatively solves the challenge of balancing data sovereignty with global circulation, centering on DID decentralized identities, CID digital asset transformation, intelligent clearing and distribution, and G-TRAC anchor warrants. Its implementation in Mongolia opens up the Sino-Mongolian digital trade channel, promoting the transformation of实体企业 (physical enterprises) from traditional investment and trade models towards cross-border rights confirmation and cooperation. Enterprises can use GEDIS standards to convert physical assets such as land and livestock into RWA digital assets, achieving a leap from "selling goods" to "operating assets" and clearly outlining the transformation path from "traditional enterprise" to "digital commerce enterprise".

Driving Industrial Leap with Standards: Creating a New Benchmark for the Digital Silk Road

Both parties will utilize the Sino-Mongolian Livestock Industry Digital Collaboration Demonstration Park as a carrier to promote the large-scale operation of a "dumbbell-shaped structure" featuring a "domestic digital base + overseas production载体 (carrier)". With Yan'an serving as the global DID certification center and Mongolia as the CID production center, they will rely on the "Huayuan Huitong" consortium blockchain to achieve trusted collaboration, opening new channels for the systematic export of China's digital capabilities, including industrial data models and production management standards. This initiative is expected to drive over 50 domestic enterprises to form a cross-border service cluster, generating the first batch of globally investable digital assets priced in Renminbi, and providing a replicable digital trade paradigm for countries along the "Belt and Road".

Li Dong, Director of the Yan'an Digital Trade Cross-border Service Center (GEDIS Convention Coordination Secretariat): "The successful practice of GEDIS in Mongolia is not only an important starting point for China and Mongolia to jointly build new rules for digital trade but also a Chinese exploration into empowering global inclusive growth with digital technology." Sukhbaatar, Chairman of the Board of MONEXALL Company in Mongolia, emphasized that they will fully promote the implementation and application of GEDIS in Mongolia. Both parties一致表示 (stated unanimously) that they will continue to deepen practical cooperation in areas such as mutual recognition of rules, asset interoperability, and value sharing, jointly contributing wisdom and strength to build a fair and secure global digital governance system.
